Technical guidance
Sheridan’s Learning and Teaching Environment (SLATE) delivers our online learning experience to the Sheridan community. This online environment provides a rich tool set to share curricular content, facilitate communication, enable collaboration and support our entire spectrum of learning opportunities. Library and research services
Sheridan’s Library and Learning Services offer academic supports including tutoring at no additional cost, relevant collections, and innovative technology. Our mission is to provide meaningful services to advance teaching and learning, build research capacity, promote scholarly communication and encourage creative activities. Library staff are available and eager to serve you via phone, email or online chat.
Graduation information
Online students are welcome to join our on-campus graduation ceremony. If you wish to graduate promptly upon completion of requirements, you must declare your intent to graduate in a timely manner and in accordance with published deadlines and procedures set by the Office of the Registrar. If you have completed all program and GPA requirements but do not apply to graduate, you will be awarded your credential automatically after three terms (one year) of no enrolment. Career and employment counselling
Our Career Counsellors can help you explore your career options, discover your career direction, and plan your education. Our Employment Consultants provide job search support by helping you learn new job search strategies, how to develop a strong resume, and cover letter, and how to succeed at interviews.
